The Pelagian Islands in Italy also called Isole Pelagie are located at the south of Sicily and belong to the province of Agrigento. The islands have a population of 5765 and have a common area of 1600 hectares with a population density of 360 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The Pelagian Islands are preferred reached from Agrigento precisely from the port of Empedocle. The Siremar ferry departs periodically to Linosa and also to the island of Lampedusa. A Ticket for adults costs approximately between 27,80 euros and 33,50 euros.
