Ponza - Pontine Islands in Lazio

Ponza is one of the Pontine islands in the province of Latina of the region Lazio in Italy. The island has an area of 7.5 sq. km and about 3000 inhabitants. Together with Zannone, Palmarola and Gavi this island group form a municipality of the province of Latina. Next to Ponza therer are other small towns on this island, Guardini, Giancos, I Conti e Santa Maria and in the northern part of the island Campo Inglese and Le Forma.

Ponza is a popular holiday destination for diving for who is interested in exploring the dive spots in the archipelago.

There are several diving schools, scuba diving offers and boat rental offers for a easier dip in the waters of the island group.
